CBRE acquires Singapore-based sustainability advisory firm Paia Consulting
In August 2023, Keppel hired Bennett Wong, previous major specialist at Paia Consulting, to become its group sustainability senior administrator. Wong departed in July to join professional services company RSM.
On August 1, CBRE announced that it has already acquired Paia Consulting, a Singapore-based sustainability consultatory business. The procurement is part of the New York Stock Exchange-listed worldwide real estate services firm’s growth of its sustainability consultatory company in Asia Pacific.
Anshuman Magazine, CBRE advisory department head, India, Southeast Asia, Middle East, and Africa, mentions the acquisition will certainly have an impact across the APAC zone. “The greater degree of awareness and attraction in sustainability is growing amongst companies, and increasing regulations will certainly offer a motivation for them to build sustainability approaches and to illustrate development on their execution.”
